About Kelly Robinson
Kelly was born in Houston, Texas moving to Austin with his family in his early years. As a teenager, Kelly began writing music learning the bass guitar. Kelly’s father was a renowned painter; James Robinson also played piano and composed musical pieces. Kelly attributes his musical genes from his father. Kelly went on to form several bands writing and co-writing material, lyrics and singing for a number of years. This website outlines his music contributions with a range of material covering numerous genres such as country, folk, light jazz, funk, blues and rock.
You can experience his transition to various musical styles over the years with numerous artists creating unique music through their performances and recordings. Kelly continues to write songs and will be posted on this site once completed.
